Bon Vie Bistro & Bar in Columbus

Great atmosphere. We were greeted shortly after walking in, requested a table far from the door (as it was a cold night) and the server who seated us, sat as in a perfect spot. The food was great! We really enjoyed the short rib (but in just a red wine jus, not the balsamic). It was tender and well seasoned. The meatloaf was excellent although I would prefer no ketchup next time and sadly they were out of mashed potatoes but the server suggested the gouda polenta and it worked out well as an alternative. We also enjoyed the crab cakes. They are a little "bready," could use more crab but great flavor!

Zero dairy and meat free options. I called ahead and they said they could do one dish that was meat and dairy free; but, as the bowels of multiple lactose intolerant people can testify, it had dairy. We had a very nice waiter though. If you want vegetarian or vegan options, definetly go elsewhere.

This place is okay. I was not impressed. I also thought they could have been better in terms of hospitality. My friends and I had reservations for 7:30 for Galentines day. Our wait was maybe 5 minutes which was fine. Once we were seated our waiter took almost 15 minutes to drop off water and take our drink order. Took another 15 minutes for drinks which was fine until he never came back for appetizers or another round considering we were waiting so long. Let me just say this was after Valentine's day so it wasn't busy but it took us a total of 3 hrs to get our food and actually be done which is an extremely long time. The food was good but cold/warm and and so was our lava cake that we ordered just because we wanted to talk and have a good time. We wasted our money that night.

Had a wonderful experience dining here for the first time last week. My parents who are notoriously picky eaters loved almost everything they ate. The shrimp and calamari appetizer was amazing! though I wish there were more than 3 pieces of calamari. I ordered a steak well done (I know i know) but it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I guess the only thing I didn’t care for was the decor it’s a tad outdated but there’s so much potential.

Ordered my steak medium, it came out rare. My bill was wrong and had to get that adjusted. Other than the steak, my food was great.

Great steak, the shrimp and calamari appetizer is the best dish!! The service is good but the decor leaves some to offer. The table we had was wobbly and the mirrors above our table were dirty and the entrance way seemed to need some attention. Small issues compared to the food.

I walked past this restaurant numerous times, looked at the menu and said yum. Before heading back to the Sunshine State I stopped in for a late lunch and was seated at a lovely outside table. The weather was sunny and perfect.I knew exactly what I was going to order. Lobster bisque prepared with sherry and creme fraiche and a B.V. wedge with bacon, tomatoes and roquefort vinaigrette. Delish! Bon Vie is located within Easton Town Center. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the outside tables reminiscent of my days in Paris (that may be a stretch but it was nice). Natalie V. was professional, proficient and spot on with here service. I truly enjoyed myself. Next time in in town, I'll try the $5 Wednesday martinis and the bar bites.

This place was amazing! We tried to go to Jay Hawks winery but the line was 45 minutes so we walked around and saw this place. It's an amazing restaurant with a nice patio and great view of the circle and fountain. Our server was friendly, professional, and fast. I ordered the salmon fillet which was perfectly cooked with a nice white wine pairing. I was really happy to stumble upon this place.

Good view and good food! We showed up too early but they still opened early for us. Great service! Eggs Benedict was super super good!

Went here for my brother and my birthday with a party of 10. The staff was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. Thanks for making our birthday very memorable!

Pretty sure it’s out of business. They destroyed everything. The outside is destroyed. The electronics are all damaged even down to the outdoor speakers, the outdoor heaters, tables, and chairs are all destroyed. This looks like a sick joke by the restaurant owners interested in damaging the property rather than bowing out and shutting down

Had my first visit to Easton while visiting Columbus. We had a killer brunch here and arrived just as the door opened. I thinm our bartender was Casey (??...sorry, girlfriend...but you poured some great beer to help my memory!). I had THE BEST shrimp and grits, just as good as I use to get in Chapel Hill, NC. All around great experience.

Went for lunch and had a good time. Menu had a good variety but not too many choices. Food was delicious, but I enjoyed the lobster bisque a bit more than my wife. Salad (wedge) and soup was on the menu and it was good. Staff was fast and friendly. We will be back.

It is a good place as i went there with my husband on valentine’s date night. Ambience was ok, service was good and food is also good but not much options if you are vegetarian like me.

Portions are small for the price. I got the beets with creamed feta and there was 8 pieces of beets total for 8 bucks. The creamed feta took up most of the plate, but was really good. The shrimp and grits have a lot of great nutty flavors

Pleasant waitstaff, delicious food! Came for restaurant week and we felt we got a great meal for a great price!

I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great atmosphere, exceptional service and a delectable meal. Everyone from the hostess to the manager went beyond the call of duty to make my night extraordinarily special. Thank you to our server Mike, you were amazing! Although the star of the evening was the head chef Brandon who took initiative in going the extra mile with every detail. I look forward to sharing my experience with others in the future. A delightful little restaurant. The food was good. The service was good. Bon Vie Bistro has a really good vibe and a cozy atmosphere. It was a pleasurable dining experience. I think I will be back.

This place is amazing and for the price and table service it's hard to beat. Great selection of wines and in house made cocktails. Meals ate big portions with vegan and gluten free available. Highly suggest the lobster bisque and wedge salad. Price $$$

This place was a disappointment. They blame it on a really busy day. Food was horrible. The barkeeper’s hands were visibly shaking.

A favorite spot at Easton Fashion Place. There are many other restaurants but this place feels familiar, like one of the places I use to go to in NYC. The menu isn't overwhelming but focused and in keeping with the restaurant's concept of a French bistro. Everything is tasty! The environment, although located in in mall, feels more urban, like a place I would find in midtown Manhattan.

I enjoyed my food, but it seems to be hit or miss ! My dining companions didnt have such a great experience and almost all the tables stayed dirty the entire time we were there. The drinks were outstanding!

I had an awesome early dinner here. The people watching from their outdoor patio is great. You are in the heart of the shopping. The beautiful fountain is across the street which makes for a great view. The service was a little slow but the awesome meal made up for it. Our server was very attentive to refilling our beverages. I would definitely come back.

One of the most enjoyable restaurants in Columbus. Been nearly a dozen time, never disappointed. Beautiful decor and a wonderful staff.

Service was very slow, even when not busy. We hardly saw our waiter and was there for over 2 hours. The food was also not up to par unfortunately. It was very bland for me.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. I had the fish and chips. Perfect crispy fries! Everyone in our group of 8 liked their food.
